Principal´s Message

Dear Families,

Welcome!  My name is Dr. Brenda Walton and I am honored  to serve as the principal at  F. W. Kling Elementary School.  I have a wide range of experiences to bring to Kling Elementary, along with my passion and love for children.

Kling Elementary offers a robust curriculum for our students.  Each day, students will engage in an evidence based instructional day, which includes literacy, mathematics, history, science, physical education and a rotation of art, music or library.   Additionally, students will participate in daily recess and morning meetings.  During morning meetings, students begin each day with our adopted social-emotional curriculum known as Character Counts.  As the name indicates, students learn and practice skills which support their development as responsible and respectful students and members of the Buena Vista community.

It is evident that the Buena Vista community of students, parents, staff and administrators are a very special group of individuals.  Working together for the success of our children is imperative and I look forward to collaborating with you to continue the success of Kling Elementary School.

Please feel free to contact me at any time at [email protected].

Sincerely,

Dr. Brenda Walton
